The location was beautiful, especially the hotel, inside and outside. It's amazing with how old it is how well preserved they kept it. The food there at the hotel's restaurant is delicious. Also, with the hotel being haunted, I was super excited to go because I've never stayed in a haunted hotel before. I'm very into paranormal activity, but have always been skeptical about if you can really feel spirits or not. I definitely felt a strong presence here, so much it really caught me off guard, yet was so freaking cool!! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

My granddaughter and I got in late, around 11pm. It was a history lesson spending a night and the following day in Abbeville. Loved the antiquities that the Belmont has acquired over the years. Beautiful in their own right, they were beautifully displayed as well. Starting with the check in "desk", and it just goes on from there.

Staff has been friendly and helpful each time we’ve stayed there—nice job of making guests feel welcome! Breakfast room is tastefully decorated; each table has a small centerpiece—looks great!

The new owners, along with the rest of the staff are amazing. Very kind and accommodating! This was my third time here and still love it. The interior and exterior is beautiful and historic.

Our room was lovely, comfortable, and clean. The staff is extremely pleasant and went the extra mile to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

this is an amazing hotel with a lot of history. been staying here for years now and the seasoned staff is amazing and very helpful. the tavern downstairs is a great place to have a drink or grab a bite to eat. food is great. you can also have your meal on the veranda which overlooks the downtown area. the opera house is located right next door and host the most amazing shows in the southeast. a great night stay and a show, you can’t be the package!

It was a continental breakfast which was fine as we weren’t looking to eat that much. Orange juice was very good . We appreciated Jim giving us a glass of a very nice wine as the bar/restaurant was not open on Monday when we arrived.

Staff was extremely nice, from manager Blake on down. The location was great and the room we had was beautiful and comfortable. Thanks to everyone for your kind hospitality.
